Election Commission conducts quiz in New Market

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal

In a unique initiative, the Election Commission organized a quiz show in the centre of town in New Market on Nov 16 evening. The quiz was open to everyone and people from myriad backgrounds participated in it. The questions ranged from basic to tough and only a few people could progress to the next rounds. Nevertheless, on-the-spot awards were given to the lucky few who could answer several questions in a row.

One of the participants said the event was a novel way to raise awareness about the ‘festival of democracy’, while another said the quiz was both informative and engaging. Bystanders and members of the audience said they would like to see more such events before future elections.
