World Hindi Day unites Indians across world: CC Tripathi

Bhopal: A workshop on the subject of Indian translation tools was organized at NITTTR Bhopal. NITTTR Director, Prof. C.C. Tripathi, mentioned in his message that apart from promoting the Hindi language on a global level, World Hindi Day is celebrated to unite Indians residing in various countries worldwide. During the inauguration of the workshop, Dean Academic and Research Prof. Sanjay Agrawal stated that India is making use of developed AI generative translation tools to make content available in regional languages for education and research purposes. Indian AI translation tools are actively working to connect people distributed across different linguistic bases.

Dean and Head Prof. P.K. Purohit explained that World Hindi Day is celebrated every year with a specific theme. The theme for the year 2024 is ‘From Traditional Knowledge in Hindi to Artificial Intelligence.’ Accordingly, a workshop on translation tools related to AI is being conducted under this theme. Mrs. Shobha Lekhwani welcomed all the participants to the workshop. The workshop’s subject expert, Mr. Sanjay Tripathi, elaborated on the development of AI generative translation tools in India. All the participants in the workshop learned to use translation tools in the computer lab. Thirty participants took part in this workshop, and everyone appreciated this knowledge-enhancing workshop.
