Stop the violence against women or else the public will taste the dust of defeat: BJP Chitra Wagh

Mumbai, Apr 4 (UNI) Accusing Congress leaders of repeatedly insulting women, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Mahila Morcha Mumbai regional president Chitra Wagh on Thursday warned that unless they showed respect to women, people would teach a lesson to the grand old party in the coming parliamentary polls.

In a media release, Wagh wrote that women’s power has been glorified in Indian culture, but Congress has been repeatedly insulting women.

She alleged that Congress MP Randeep Surjewala has hurled insults at MP and actress Hema Malini.
She claimed it was not only an insult to Hema Malini, who proved herself first in acting and then in the political field, but also to the common Indian women who have advanced on the path of self-made progress.

Wagh said a few days ago, Congress’s woman leader Supriya Shrinate also made vulgar remarks about BJP candidate and actress Kangana Ranaut. Congress’s supreme leader, Rahul Gandhi, too had spoken of ending women’s power, Wagh claimed.
