Travels in train to campaign; says no one ready to contest for fear of losing
Bhopal: Amidst the bustling election fervor, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and BJP leader, embarked on a train journey as part of his campaign in the Ganj Basoda Assembly of the Vidisha Lok Sabha Constituency on Thursday.
Addressing reporters’ inquiries regarding the delay in Congress party’s candidate list, Chouhan voiced his observation, stating, “No one seems prepared to engage in battle due to the fear of defeat. This epitomizes the current state of the Congress party. It’s disheartening for democracy when individuals are reluctant to even step into the arena.”
He expressed gratitude for public support, remarking, “Wherever there are people, there is affection. I deeply appreciate the love and encouragement I receive from the public. I am devoted to serving them tirelessly.”
Chouhan’s sentiment was captured in his phrase, “Jahan Janata hoti hai, vahan Mama hota hai” (Where there are people, there is affection).
Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav exuded confidence in a significant victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha election, affirming that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is poised to secure all 29 parliamentary seats in the state.
CM Yadav made these assertions during interactions with reporters in Jabalpur district today, also outlining plans for developmental initiatives in the state’s future.
