Randomization of EVMs completed in 34 dists

Bhopal: Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan said that the first randomization process of EVMs in 34 districts for the Lok Sabha elections- 2024 was completed on Thursday. He said that the process of EVM randomization took place in the presence of authorized representatives of recognized national political parties, Collectors and District Election Officers. After the completion of the randomization process, these machines have been allotted assembly constituency wise. , EVMs have been kept safe in the strong room of the assembly constituency.

The process of randomization of EVMs was completed on March 21 in Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Datia, Shivpuri, Ashoknagar, Sagar, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Satna, Rewa, Sidhi, Singrauli, Anuppur, Umaria, Katni, Jabalpur, Dindori, Mandla, Balaghat, Seoni, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, Betul, Harda, Narmadapuram, Raisen, Vidisha, Bhopal, Sehore, Rajgarh and Niwari districts.

The process of first phase EVM randomization will be completed in Indore, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Khargone, Barwani, Dhar, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Agar Malwa, Panna, Guna and Shahdol districts on March 22.
