Arun Govil, who played the role of Ram in the popular serial Ramayana, reached Bhopal on Wednesday. ‘Suno Shriram Kahani’ program was organized by Being People organization on Wednesday at the capital’s Bittan Market Ground. In the programme, Arun Govil, who played the role of Ram in the Ramayana serial, narrated the story of Shri Ram.
He said that Ram is the symbol of faith of all of us. Describing the message of Ramayana, Govil said that whatever we can do should be done for the protection of religion and social welfare. Ramayana gives us the message to distance ourselves from greed and covetousness. Earlier, Rampath Yatra started from Hanuman Temple located at 1100 Quarters and reached Dussehra Ground located at Bittan Market. At the same time, Arun Govil was welcomed by former Home Minister Narottam Mishra. As soon as he reached the capital on Wednesday, he first reached Dr. Narottam Mishra’s residence in Char Imli area. Dr. Mishra welcomed Govil with his family. Dr. Mishra welcomed Govil by applying tilak and giving him shawl, quince and bunch of flowers. Govil discussed many topics with Dr. Mishra.
