Bhopal: Congress state president Jitu Patwari cornered the government over the robbery in a bank in Indore, Madhya Pradesh and alleged that the government is failing to stop the rampant crime in Indore.
Patwari posted on Instagram, ‘A robbery took place in broad daylight in the Punjab National Bank of Indore, the industrial capital of Madhya Pradesh! The miscreant wearing a mask and raincoat entered the bank and fired in the air! He made the woman employee sitting at the cash counter fill the bag with money and fled from the spot! This incident, which took place in the busiest area of the city, has filled the general public with terror! People are worried about the security system!’
Patwari said that the escalating crime rate in Madhya Pradesh has become widespread, with sensational robbery and dacoity incidents now adding to the existing issues. The audacity displayed by criminals in carrying out small thefts and robberies can be gauged from instances like a bank robbery in broad daylight. The Bharatiya Janata Party government, unable to curb the growing crime rate in Indore, is exacerbating the challenges faced by the public through its operational approach.
