Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed Bhoomi Pujan through virtual medium for the construction of a night shelter in AIIMS Bhopal on Sunday.

Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Honorable Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, joined the event virtually. Expressing his views on the occasion of Bhoomi Pujan, Chairman of AIIMS Bhopal, Dr. Sunil Malik said that there has been significant progress in the field of medicine in the last 10 years and in the last one and a half years, under the leadership of Professor (Dr.) Ajay Singh, AIIMS Bhopal has made special progress significantly. We are committed to providing better health services to the last person of the society.

Informs about the efforts

On this occasion, Professor (Dr.) Ajay Singh spoke about the efforts being made by AIIMS Bhopal in enhancing the facilities for patients and their relatives in collaboration with various institutions and NGOs like Seva Bharti. A night shelter will be constructed with the help of Seva Bharti for people coming from far flung areas to get treatment at AIIMS Bhopal. By constructing 500 rooms in an area of 22000 square feet, a solution to the accommodation facility for the coming patients and their relatives will be available. He expressed hope that this night shelter will also have a place of prayer for all religions and it will become an example of a mini India. Senior social worker Hemant Muktibodh, Gopal Krishna Godani ji from Seva Bharti, etc. were present as special guests in the program organized at AIIMS Bhopal.
