Rahul prevents disintegration of India alliance with the help of dialogue and coordination

Pravesh Kumar Mishra, New Delhi,

To maintain the unity of the India alliance, the Congress Party has not only adopted a flexible approach but has also made a strategy to find a solution by coordinating with the allies with the help of meaningful dialogue. There is talk that to save the disintegrating alliance, former President Rahul Gandhi prepared his people to give up their stubbornness and move ahead with the above strategy.

After a long struggle, there has finally been an agreement within the Indian alliance regarding seats with allies in Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Maharashtra, Goa, Haryana and talks with leaders of many other parties are at the final stage. But the topic of discussion in the political circles of Delhi is that how did the sudden change in the tough and one-sided stance of the allies happen? Were the leaders of the parties involved in the India Alliance made aware of their real strength with figures by the Congress interlocutors? Did the Congress itself come on the back foot and surrender before the conditions of its allies? Answers to all such questions are being sought.

However, if senior Congress party sources are to be believed, to save the alliance, Rahul Gandhi had made a strategy to keep the allies united without worrying about his loss. For this, first of all Rahul Gandhi gave a strict message to the party in-charges and senior state leaders of the states under the influence of allies to avoid negative statements. So that mutual disputes can be resolved. Not only this, for this, on one hand, Rahul held multi-level discussions with the party strategists regarding the challenges within the party and his strengths, while on the other hand, by establishing personal communication with the top leadership of the allies i.e. Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, SP chief Akhilesh Prasad Yadav, AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son Tejashwi Yadav, they were forced to sit at the negotiating table. It is being said that Rahul Gandhi had advised the committee led by party general secretary Mukul Wasnik to first hold talks with the negotiators of the parties involved in the alliance with utmost seriousness by having point-by-point discussions and taking forward various survey reports. If there is more pressure from the other party regarding any seat, then Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi have been discussing and taking the final decision regarding it. It is discussed that keeping in mind the displeasure and one-sided attitude of Farooq Abdullah and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee, Rahul Gandhi himself has talked to the two leaders. It is believed that some meaningful results will emerge soon. However, due to Rahul Gandhi’s far-reaching thinking and strategy of collectivism, the disintegrating clan of India Alliance now seems ready to move forward with unity.
