BJP’s Central Election Committee has announced the names of the candidates for the post of MLAs for Sausar and Pandurna assembly seats in the important Chhindwara parliamentary constituency of the state. On Thursday, the Bharatiya Janata Party announced its MLA candidates for 39 seats. In this, candidates were also announced for two assembly seats in Chhindwara district, the stronghold of former Chief Minister Kamal Nath, in which the names of Nana Bhau Mohod from Sausar and Prakash Uike from Pandhurna are included.

Significantly, Nana Bhau Mohod has a lot of influence in Sausar assembly constituency. From here he has been an MLA in the past, apart from this, he was also made the state education minister in the BJP government. Now once again the BJP has made Nana Bhau Mohod its candidate in Sausar, while Prakash Uike, who recently joined BJP after resigning from the job of a judge, has been made the candidate for the post of MLA from Pandhurna. He had taken the membership of BJP in front of the Chief Minister in a program organized in Bhopal in the past. It is to inform that this time in Chhindwara, the BJP is engaged in besieging former Chief Minister Kamal Nath with full preparation. For the assembly and Lok Sabha elections, veteran leaders of BJP are engaged in frequent visits here. Home Minister Amit Shah has already taken a general meeting in Chhindwara. While veteran leader Kailash Vijayvargiya, Union Minister Giriraj Singh, Union Minister Prahlad Patel are also keeping a constant watch in Chhindwara. It is said that 5 MLAs from other areas of BJP are coming to visit the district at the national level to select BJP candidates for the elections in the other five Vidhan Sabhas of the district. After discussing with the BJP office bearers and workers in Chhindwara, they will hand over the list of who to make candidates for the assembly elections to the organization. The Congress is in possession of all the seven assembly seats in Chhindwara. Chhindwara’s MP is also Nakul Nath, son of former Chief Minister Kamal Nath, in such a situation, winning the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Chhindwara remains a question of prestige for the BJP.

It is also believed that the BJP, which is busy preparing for 2024, has started preparing to surround Kamal Nath, the contender for the post of Chief Minister, in Chhindwara.

Nanabhau Mohod’s dominance in BJP continues

In the first list of candidates issued by the BJP after the meeting of the Central Election Committee, former Minister of State Nanabhau Mohod has maintained his dominance on the political scene of the district by registering his name. After the unexpected defeat in 2018, Nanabhau Mohod showed his activism from the ground to the activities of the organization for the whole five years that Nanabhau’s name was registered in the first list released by the party. The service done by Nanabhau Mohod and his team during the Corona period cannot be forgotten. Apart from this, the one-sided victory in Municipality elections will also be remembered forever. As soon as the name of former Minister of State Nanabhau Mohod appears in the list, there is an atmosphere of happiness among his supporters and the entire party team. Experts say that Congress may have won by a huge margin in the last election but its path is not easy in this election. Apart from BJP workers, Nanabhau supporters are also in no mood to take any kind of risk this time. However, the BJP has outdone itself by releasing the first list of candidates. Due to this, there has been double enthusiasm among the party workers.
