More than 15 lakh devotees will arrive on Mahashivratri

Temple will remain open for 44 hours

The meeting for the arrangements to be made during Mahashivratri was held under the chairmanship of Collector and Chairman Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee Neeraj Kumar Singh.

In the meeting, the Collector instructed the officials of the concerned departments to ensure arrangements as per last year. Where some change has to be made, it should be planned. Barricading should be done a day before the festival. This time barcodes will be given in VIP pass. He instructed that the shops selling carts etc. around the temple should be removed. The departments that have been given responsibilities should ensure that the work is done seriously and on time.

It is noteworthy that like last year, the number of devotees in Mahakaleshwar temple will increase this year on the occasion of Mahashivratri festival. Therefore, devotees should have an easy darshan. Mayor Mukesh Tatwal, Temple Management Committee members Pradeep Guru, Rajendra Sharma, Priest Committee members Ashok Sharma, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ashish Pathak, Administrator Mr. Sandeep Soni, ADM Anukul Jain and officials of related departments etc. were present in the meeting.
