Says those who are pained by boycott of temple inauguration should get an opportunity
Bhopal: On a large number of Congress leaders and workers joining the Bharatiya Janata Party before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Madhya Pradesh BJP President Vishnudutt Sharma today said that the doors of the party are open. Those Congressmen who are pained by the steps taken by the Congress regarding the Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony, should get an opportunity.
Sharma said this during interaction with reporters here. He was asked about the speculations about former Chief Minister Kamal Nath joining BJP. On this he said without naming anyone that if anyone feels that he has faith in our leadership, then the doors of the party are open for such people. He also clarified that BJP has opened its doors because now Congress has insulted the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony, if Congress people are pained by this step then they should get an opportunity.
Along with this, he told the reporters in the context of Kamal Nath that if those whose names are being taken also have pain in their minds, then they are welcome.
He said that even after the arrival of people from other parties, the soul of BJP will remain the same. BJP does not run on families, it runs on ideas. The group that has ideas moves ahead.
Regarding candidate selection for the Lok Sabha elections, Sharma said that whenever the central leadership feels like it, it will take the decision on candidate selection.
On Congress’s allegations against BJP regarding stifling democracy, he said that if anyone did this, then Congress did it. The party no longer exists, hence now it can only make allegations.
