Mercury dips as fog envelops city

Light drizzle likely in Indore, Ujjain, and surrounding areas

Bhopal: On Wednesday morning, dense fog enveloped various cities in Madhya Pradesh, including Bhopal, Sehore, and Ujjain, severely limiting visibility to just 50 meters. Additionally, a light drizzle was reported in Bhopal, Chhindwara, and Ujjain.

Senior meteorologist Divya Surendran attributed the weather changes to the influence of a Western Disturbance. She mentioned the likelihood of light rain and hail in certain areas on Wednesday, with fog persisting for the next 2 to 3 days, resulting in a gradual drop in nighttime temperatures.
