Karnataka: SIT takes Prajwal to his Holenarasipura residence for ‘spot mahazar’

Bengaluru, June 8 (UNI) In a significant development in the Karnataka sex video scandal, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) brought Prajwal Revanna, the prime accused, to his residence in Holenarasipur in Hassan district, for a ”spot mahazar”.

The ‘spot mahazar’ process is integral to establishing the crime scene, providing crucial insights for the investigation.

Prajwal, former JDS MP and grandson of ex-Prime Minister HD Devegowda, was taken to his home in a Quick Response Team (QRT) vehicle, accompanied by officers from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) to maintain discretion.

Meanwhile, revelations surfaced regarding Prajwal’s girlfriend, who reportedly aided him during his extended stay in Germany, spanning over 34 days. The SIT has summoned her for questioning.

As the investigation unfolds, the SIT continues to delve deeper into the complexities surrounding the scandal, unraveling new details.
