Cong to take out ‘Dhanyawad Yatra’ in UP from June 11

Lucknow, June 8 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh Congress will take out ”Dhanyawad Yatra” in all the 403 Assembly Constituencies in the state from June 11 to 15 following the party winning six seats in the recently held Lok Sabha election.

Congress state spokesperson Anshu Awasthi on Saturday said that due to the success in the Lok Sabha election, the grand old party has decided to take out a Dhanyawad Yatra.

He said that the decision was taken in the meeting of the party’s political affairs committee, attended by winning MPs and candidates of the Lok Sabha election, under the chairmanship of party general secretary and state in-charge Avinash Pandey and state president Ajay Rai.

Awasthi said that the voters of the state have played an important role in saving the constitution and democracy of the country. For this, the party will thank them and will try to implement the five justice and 25 guarantees related to the public interest.

The spokesperson said that apart from Avinash Pandey and Ajay Rai, Congress’s winning MPs, Lok Sabha candidates, MLAs, and all senior leaders will participate in the yatra.
