Govt employee booked on complaint of girl students

Bhopal: In Gwalior, a disturbing incident has come to light involving three girl students who, after attending an interview at the Madhya Pradesh Seed Corporation, were allegedly told to spend a night in exchange for job opportunities. The aggrieved students promptly reported the incident to the police and filed a complaint against the accused government employee.

The accused, identified as Sanjeev Kumar, a production assistant at MP Seed Corporation, reportedly contacted the girl students via WhatsApp, stating that securing a job would require them to spend a night with him. The victims, outraged by the inappropriate demand, lodged a formal complaint, leading the police to initiate a case against the accused.

One of the affected students, enrolled at a college in Gwalior, shared her experience with the police. She recounted attending an interview at the Madhya Pradesh State Seed Corporation at Agricultural University on January 3. Sanjeev Kumar conducted the interview. Subsequently, he contacted the student, making explicit demands in exchange for job assistance.

The Crime Branch DSP Siyaz KM revealed that interviews took place at the Agricultural University on January 3, where several girl students, including the victims, participated. Sanjeev Kumar, as a member of the interview panel, allegedly engaged in inappropriate behavior with the students via WhatsApp, soliciting a physical relationship. A case under Section 354A has been registered against the accused following the complaint.
