Former minister Rustam Singh resigns from BJP

Chambal region’s BJP leader and former minister Rustam Singh has resigned from BJP along with all his posts. He himself was angry for a long time due to not getting his candidature and being neglected in the party. His son Rakesh Rustam Singh had resigned from the party three days ago and joined BSP. He is contesting from Morena seat from BSP.

It is noteworthy that Rustam Singh was a Gurjar leader in BJP and had joined BJP after taking retirement from the post of IG. He was elected MLA from Morena Assembly in 2003 and became a minister in the state government.

Defeat in the last election

After this, he lost the elections in 2008. In 2014, he won the elections once again and became a minister in the government. After this he lost in the 2018 elections. He was not given a chance in the by-election. After this, when the party did not give him the ticket in 2023, his son Rakesh Singh took membership of BSP. Rustam Singh has sent his resignation to State President VD Sharma along with State Organization Minister, District President and District Organization Minister.

Shivraj Shah left BJP from Mandla

Mandala. There is no sign of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s problems reducing. As soon as the name of Sampatia Uike was announced from the Mandla Assembly, the party was busy in convincing the dissidents. On Monday, senior party leader and former MLA Shivraj Shah reached the BJP office and expressed his displeasure with the party and rebelled. While resigning from the BJP party, he announced that now he will contest the elections as an independent candidate and will defeat the BJP party.

MLA Panchulal will contest as an independent

Rewa. After the ticket of BJP’s Mangawan MLA Panchulal Prajapati was canceled, his pain was expressed and he had tears in his eyes while talking to the media. He will rebel against the party and contest the elections, if the ticket is not changed then have given an ultimatum to contest the elections as an independent. He has also alleged conspiracy and said that the ticket has been sold after taking money. Mangawan MLA Panchulal Prajapati is a senior BJP leader and was elected MLA from Devtalab in 1998. In 2018 also, he was elected MLA from Mangawan. But this time the party canceled his ticket. On Monday, the former MLA along with his wife Pannabai reached the Collectorate and also bought the nomination form. He said in the press conference that the party did not give me the ticket. I want to know what was my fault that the party did this to me. He said that he is sad and hurt and started crying while saying this. He said that we have bought the nomination papers. If the party does not change the ticket, we will contest the elections as an independent. Actually, this time BJP has made Engineer Narendra Prajapati its candidate from Mangawan and the ticket of MLA Panchulal Prajapati was canceled.
