Commercial LPG Cylinder prices reduced

  • Offer relief to businesses in Bhopal

Bhopal: In a move that brings significant relief to hotel owners and business operators, Oil Marketing Companies have announced a reduction in the prices of commercial LPG cylinders. This price cut is set to benefit over 10,000 commercial cylinder consumers across Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, and other parts of the country. In the capital city, the price of the 19 kg LPG cylinder has been reduced by Rs 41, dropping from Rs 1,808 to Rs 1,769.

This reduction comes as part of the monthly price adjustments based on fluctuations in crude oil prices and other market factors. Prior to this, the prices saw a hike of RS 6 in March, and a decrease of Rs 7 in February. In December, however, commercial LPG prices surged by Rs 62, marking a significant rise.

For businesses like restaurants, hotels, and other commercial enterprises relying heavily on bulk LPG supplies, this price reduction brings much-needed relief at the start of the new financial year in April. The reduction in fuel costs will ease financial pressure, especially for those in the hospitality and food industry, offering some respite amidst rising operating expenses.
