First randomization of EVMs completed in 52 dists

Bhopal: Chief Electoral Officer Shri Anpum Rajan said that in the context of Lok Sabha elections- 2024, the first randomization has been completed in 52 districts of Madhya Pradesh. The first randomization process of EVMs in 18 districts was completed on Friday. Earlier on March 21, the process of randomization was completed in 34 districts. He said that the process of EVM randomization took place in the presence of authorized representatives of recognized national political parties and Collectors and District Election Officers. After the completion of the randomization process, these machines have been allotted assembly constituency wise. EVMs have been kept safe in the strong room of the assembly constituency.

The first phase of EVM randomization was conducted on March 22 in Indore, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Khargone, Barwani, Dhar, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Agar Malwa, Panna, Guna and Shahdol districts.
