Union Home Minister Amit Shah today said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s aim is to uplift every person of poor, tribal and backward society, whereas the only aim of the opposition alliance and Congress party is to take the family forward.
Shah addressed huge public meetings organized in Mandla and Katni here and called upon the people to vote with overwhelming majority in all the Lok Sabha seats of Madhya Pradesh. He said that in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, on one side there is BJP and NDA under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while on the other side there is Indi alliance with nepotism and corruption.
On this occasion, senior party leaders including Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, State BJP President Vishnudutt Sharma, State Government Ministers Kailash Vijayvargiya and Prahlad Patel and BJP candidate from Mandla Faggan Singh Kulaste were present.
Shah said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 25 crore people have been brought out of the poverty line in the last 10 years. The BJP government has given the benefit of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi to 95 lakh farmers in Madhya Pradesh.
Modi gave respect to tribal community
Describing Congress as anti-tribal, Mr. Shah said that nothing was done for the tribal community during the Congress rule, but Mr. Modi gave respect to the entire tribal community by making a tribal woman the President of the country for the first time. Mr Modi started celebrating Birsa Munda Jayanti as “Tribal Pride Day”. The BJP government has first implemented the PESA Act on the ground in Madhya Pradesh. The BJP government has built hundreds of Eklavya schools, allocated about Rs 1 lakh crore as District Mineral Fund for the development of tribal area. Congress created “Dynasty Management Fund” in place of “District Mineral Fund”.
Shah said that under the BJP government, many temples have been restored including Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, Mahakal Corridor, Somnath Temple Renovation and restoration of Mahakali Temple. By removing Article 370, Shri Modi has made Kashmir an integral part of India forever. He said that terrorism and Naxalism were haunting the entire country during the Congress rule, but Naxalism has almost been eliminated from the entire country including Madhya Pradesh.
