Now, people will also get to see wild cats and wild dogs in Van Vihar of the capital Bhopal.
Wild cats, wild dogs and 10 wolves will be brought to Van Vihar from Vizag Zoo Visakhapatnam under animal exchange. In exchange for these animals, Vizag Zoo will be given two tigers and two leopards from Van Vihar. These new guests will be brought from Vizag Zoo in the last week of June or July. It is said that approval has been received from the Central Zoo Authority (CZA) for the animal exchange. Now the permission of Andhra Pradesh government is yet to be received. Therefore, approval has not been received from Visakhapatnam at present. As soon as the Andhra Pradesh government gives permission. Animal exchanges will be done. The team of doctors including Van Vihar’s Assistant Director SK Sinha has already reached Vizag Zoo.
Preparations for new animals in Van Vihar have been going on for three months. Fences have also been built for them. These animals will be kept in enclosures only. The team of assistant director and doctors will take two tigers and two leopards from Van Vihar, in return they will bring 10 new animals from Vizag Zoo.
