Islamabad, Jan 10 (UNI) At least 10 members of a family were killed in a firing incident in a house in Pakistan’s northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, police officials said on Wednesday.
According to the police, the incident happened in Lakki Marwat district of the province, in which unknown assailants broke into the family house and sprayed bullets on the inhabitants, killing them on the spot.
Women and children were among the victims, said the police, adding that the miscreants escaped after the attack, and they have launched a search operation in surrounding areas to arrest them.
The police have started an initial investigation, with officials collecting evidence from the incident site.
