Naidu granted anticipatory bail in 3 cases by AP HC

Vijayawada, Jan 10 (UNI) Telugu Desam party national president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has got a respite as the Andhra Pradesh High Court has granted him anticipatory bail in three cases.

Andhra Pradesh High Court here on Wednesday simultaneously granted anticipatory bail to Naidu in three cases filed by the AP CID regarding alleged scams in Inner Ring Road, Sand and Liquor.

These cases were filed based on a report submitted by the ruling YSRCP MLA Alla Rama Krishna Reddy alleging irregularities by Chandrababu Naidu, ministers and several government officials.

AP HC Judge Justice T Mallikharjun Rao granted anticipatory bail to Naidu and ordered him not to make any comments influencing the investigation. The Judge also directed Naidu to submit two sureties of Rs 1 lakh each. Former Minister Kollu Ravindra and retired IAS officer Naresh were also granted anticipatory bail.
