Workers should work at every booth to boost voting: Sharma

Bhopal: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Madhya Pradesh unit President Vishnudutt Sharma today called upon the party workers to fully engage in the work of increasing the voting percentage at each booth (polling center) level in the Lok Sabha elections.

BJP candidate and sitting MP from Khajuraho parliamentary constituency, Shri Sharma addressed the meeting of workers at the election office of Powai assembly constituency of Panna district. He said that the party has set a target of increasing the votes received by the party by at least 370 votes at each booth as compared to the previous elections. To achieve this we will have to make efforts to increase the voting percentage. In this way the party can also achieve the target of “400 plus” seats in the Lok Sabha.

During his visit to Panna district which falls under Khajuraho parliamentary constituency, Mr Sharma said that the party workers are dedicated and hardworking. Therefore, he is confident that he will leave no stone unturned to ensure better victory of the party in the Lok Sabha elections and the party will win with a historic majority.

Shri Sharma is engaged in campaigning in Khajuraho parliamentary constituency. Voting here will be held on 26th April. In Khajuraho, the state’s main opposition Congress had given the seat to the Samajwadi Party, a constituent of the “India” alliance, but the nomination paper of Samajwadi Party candidate Meira Yadav has been canceled due to technical flaws. Now apart from Mr. Sharma, there are thirteen other candidates, almost all of whom are independents.
