West Bengal CM Mamata blames BJP for allegedly inciting people at Sandeshkhali

Kolkata, Feb 15 (UNI) West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday charged the BJP in the Assembly for allegedly inciting people at Sandeshkhali in North 24 Parganas.

She said no one will be spared for provoking the disharmony among the people.

Mamata said about 17 people, accused of inciting people and provoking violence have been arrested so far and reiterated that “none will be spared for wrongdoing.”

“I have never supported injustice in my life. I sent a few representatives of the state women commission to Sandeshkhali immediately and 17 people have been arrested,” she said.

Banerjee while addressing the house said she never allowed and will never allow any injustice to anyone in the state.

The Chief Minister said a ‘sinister’ campaign was on to malign her government and warned that anyone indulging in such a campaign would be dealt firmly.
