UIDAI develops a new facility to update Aadhar

Bhopal: According to the notification of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), the general public has to keep Aadhaar data updated with the latest details of the individual. District Manager e-Governance Committee said that all such Aadhaar holders who had made Aadhaar 10 years ago or earlier and have not updated the changed address or other information, are requested to update the latest personal details in the Aadhaar data.

To facilitate Aadhaar holders in this regard, UIDAI has developed a new facility of Update Document. This facility can be accessed online through My Aadhaar portal or residents can visit any Aadhaar Enrollment Center to avail it. The new feature allows Aadhaar holders to update personal proof of identity (POI) and proof of address (POA) documents in their Aadhaar. For updating documents by visiting Aadhaar center, a fee of Rs 50 will have to be paid. This facility is available free of cost on myAadhaar portal till June 30. Citizens can update online through the portal.
