Bhopal: A road connecting Khajuri Kalan to DRM office will be constructed. Minister of State for Backward Classes and Minority Welfare (Independent Charge) Smt. Krishna Gaur inspected along with the officials to remove the hindrances in the construction work.
Minister of State Mrs. Gaur said that out of the sanctioned road of approximately 7 kilometers length, 5.5 kilometers have been constructed, while due to non-construction of 1.6 kilometers, citizens of more than 2 dozen colonies are facing problems in commuting. The construction work has been stalled for the last one and a half decade due to the presence of MGM School complex between the road connecting DRM office to Khajuri Kalan. Minister of State Smt. Gaur discussed with MGM school management and local citizens. Local citizens agreed to donate land for the road. Keeping in mind the interests of a large number of citizens, Minister of State Smt. Gaur appointed CPA Executive Engineer Shri K.S. Tomar was asked to start road construction immediately.
Minister of State Smt. Gaur asked the officials of DRM Office Shakti Nagar to prepare DPR for the construction of the road connecting it to the main road near Career College. Minister of State Smt. Gaur was inspecting the site. SDM Govindpura Mr. LK Khare, MGM School Principal Mr. George Joseph, local councilor Mr. D. Shakti Rao, Mrs. Madhu Shivanani and other officials were present.
