Tribal painting tips given to children in workshop

A painting workshop is being organized in the capital’s Subhash Higher Secondary School during the summer season.

The workshop is being organized in Subhash Excellence School under the joint auspices of Directorate of Public Instruction, CM Rise. In this, students of Subhash Excellence and CM Rise School are taking training.

Anand Kumar Shyam, the country’s renowned painter and president of the Tribal Art and Culture Centre, is imparting training to the children. In this workshop, 40 children of Super 100 of Madhya Pradesh are learning the nuances of painting. In the workshop, the importance of animals, birds, plants, forests and environment in Gond tribal painting is being explained through painting. Its objective is to develop creative and cultural development in children. Students from class 9th to 12th are participating in the workshop.

Workshops are being organized during summer vacations to develop the skills of children so that they can get information about art and culture along with education. Children will be able to use this painting skill as a source of income and employment.
