Bhopal: In light of the significance of Republic Day and to ensure the safety of participants and spectators alike, the Bhopal administration has put in place comprehensive security arrangements.
Local law enforcement agencies, along with paramilitary forces, are working in tandem to fortify the entire parade route and venue. Stringent security checks will be conducted, and surveillance measures, including CCTV cameras and drone monitoring, have been intensified to keep a vigilant eye on the proceedings.
Traffic diversions and road closures will be implemented to streamline the movement of the parade and manage the influx of spectators.
Specialized units, including bomb disposal squads and canine teams, will be on standby to respond promptly to any unforeseen circumstances.
The administration has also urged citizens to cooperate with the security protocols in place and report any suspicious activities. The focus remains on creating a secure and festive environment, allowing everyone to partake in the celebrations without any concerns for their safety.
As Republic Day approaches, the excitement in Bhopal continues to build up, with the city poised to pay a fitting tribute to the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution. The combined efforts in tableaux preparations and security arrangements reflect the commitment of the city to make this Republic Day a memorable and joyous occasion for all.
Full dress final rehearsal was full of enthusiasm
The final rehearsal of the joint parade and cultural programs to be held on Republic Day was done on the Red Parade Ground on Wednesday. Director General of Police Sudhir Kumar Saxena took stock of the arrangements for the parade and ceremony. During the full dress final rehearsal of the Republic Day, Head Constable Ramchandra Singh Kushwaha of the Seventh Battalion symbolically played the role of the chief guest and hoisted the flag and took the salute of the joint parade.
Bahuri Akela to organize programmes on R-day
Bhopal: A grand Republic day celebration is being organized on 26th January on 75 th anniversary of the Indian Republic at “Bahuri Akela” located at Bhanpur.
The documentary “Creation of the Indian Constitution” will be telecast for the first time through the programme. It will be followed by Kavi Sammelan. Celebrity poets and writers of Bhopal Shri Ramesh Nand, Mahavir Singh, Parvez Akhtar, and Dr. Anil will present poetry imbued with patriotism.
In the next part of the program, the topic ’75 Years of the Indian Republic’ will be discussed by Intelligentsia of Bhopal, consisting of Professor Dr. Sadavarte, Dr. Jagdish Suryavanshi, Shri D.S.Rai (IAS- Retd), senior journalist Chakresh, Dr. (Major) Manoj Raje, Ravish Kumar, Major Prabhakar Singh, Professor Dr. Piyudeo Mahant.
The next programme, a discussion by the learned ladies of Bhopal, on the topic “Status of Women in the Republic of India,” will be coducted. Dr(Major) Raje described that the essence of this programme is based on changes in social status of women and the challenges ahead. The discussion will be attended by Kusum Rai, Aruna Ahirwar, Archana Singh, Sudha Kumar, and Vidya Kamble.
Ms. Rashi Neelkanth and Ghulam Kader Saheb will give their musical presentation in the program.
The program will be presided over by Shri D.S.Rai (IAS-Retd) and Dr. Vishal Massey, Secretary Club of Rome and Social Analyst, will be the chief guest.
Mr. Vikas Saxena is the guest of honour. The program is being conducted by Major Prabhakar Singh (Retd).
