There will be change in duty timings in BHEL from 8 Jan

  • Target of about Rs 4000 crore in current financial year

There will be a change in the duty timings in the BHEL factory, which is included in the Navaratnas of India, from 8th January. The management has taken this decision to achieve the production target in the last quarter of the current financial year.

It is noteworthy that BHEL Bhopal has got the production target of about Rs 4000 crore in the current financial year 2023-24. Out of this, in the first 09 months, BHEL has achieved the target of about 55-60 percent. Now the last quarter is left to complete the remaining target. Therefore, the duty timings of officers and employees are being changed from January 08. Now the first shift will be from 07 am to 03.30 pm, second shift from 3.30 pm to 12 midnight, normal shift from 08 am to 4.30 pm, lunch break from 12 to 12.30 pm and night shift from 08 pm to 8.30 am. Also, for essential services in the third shift, the pre-determined time table of the third shift will be effective from 11 pm to 07 am.

To achieve the production target of the last quarter, duty timings have been changed in all BHEL factories across the country. Now the lunch time of day and night shifts has been combined. All our employees and officers are enthusiastically engaged in meeting the production target. BHEL has issued a circular in this regard today.
