Suspected terrorists strike in border village of J&K’s Kathua, search operation launched

Jammu, June 11 (UNI) Security Forces late on Tuesday evening launched a massive search operation after suspected terrorists struck in border village of tehsil Hiranagar in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Official sources said that at around 7:45 pm, three suspected terrorists were seen in village Seda Sohal in Hiranagar area.

“The suspects fired few rounds and ran away towards forest area,” they said.

Sources added that security forces have rushed to the spot and have launched a massive search operation.

Notably, on June 9, terrorists attack a bus ferrying pilgrims in Reasi district following which the vehicle plunged into a gorge leaving 10 dead and 33 injured.
