Bhopal, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Information Technology is the foundation of current and future technologies. For Madhya Pradesh to stay aligned with modern developments and to expand industrial activities, investment and growth in the IT sector are essential. With this goal in mind, the state is organising its first sector-based conclave focused on IT, following the Global Investors Summit.
Dr. Yadav emphasised that major cities in the state already have a strong IT industry base. The government is committed to extending all necessary cooperation and support to elevate Madhya Pradesh’s IT industry to national and global prominence. The upcoming “Tech Growth Conclave” in Indore on April 27 is expected to yield concrete results in this direction.
The Chief Minister interacted virtually with IT entrepreneurs from various districts via Samatva Bhavan at the CM’s residence. During the interaction, industry leaders highlighted the need to expand IT parks and called for better alignment between education and industry to ensure a skilled workforce. They also discussed promoting entrepreneurial culture in startups, reducing tax on natural gas, and enhancing coordination within the startup community.
The dialogue included proposals for walk-to-work IT parks, implementing a state-wide Digital Economy Mission, and integrating AI-based technologies across other industries. Dr. Yadav appreciated the entrepreneurs’ initiatives and innovations and encouraged them to expand their activities. He stated that this dialogue would strengthen ties between the state government and IT stakeholders, enabling Madhya Pradesh to carve out a unique identity in the IT sector.
CM Dr. Yadav interacted with several industrialists via video conferencing. He interacted with Shri Chandresh Veera (Prem Sons Enterprises) and Shri Anurag Shrikhande (Intenix Pvt. Ltd.) from Jabalpur, Shri Dharmendra Kumar Yadav (Smart Control India Ltd.), Shri Anurag Srivastava (IIITM), Shri Rajesh Khanna (SRF Ltd.), Shri Mukul Chaturvedi (Surya Roshni Ltd.), and Shri Krishnakant Chaturvedi (Comonify Ventures Pvt. Ltd.) from Gwalior, Shri Mitesh Lokwani (HLBS), Shri Sarang Verma (Appointy), and Shri Abhishek Gupta (We Win) from Bhopal, Shri Sanjeev Agrawal (Impetus), Shri Narendra Sen (RackBank), Shri Dharmendra Jain (Yash Technologies), Ms. Shanu Mehta (MMC Converter), and Shri Aditya Shastri (Data Pure) from Indore.
These industrialists informed the CM about their companies’ investments, operations, and employment contributions, and also shared suggestions for advancing Madhya Pradesh as a leader in IT and allied sectors.
Additional Chief Secretary Shri Sanjay Dubey provided details about the “Tech Growth Conclave” scheduled for April 27. He informed that four roundtable meetings will be organised around policies on GCC, Drones, AVGC (Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming & Comics), and Semiconductors. A virtual meeting will be held with members of the advisory board under the Department of Information Technology.

Inauguration of newly established Centres of Excellence and Incubation Centres, Signing of MoUs with selected companies and issuance of land allocation letters, Release of guidelines for the state’s GCC Policy, Drone Policy, Semiconductor Policy & AVGC Policy, One-on-one meetings between CM Dr. Yadav and leading IT industrialists and investors.
Present at the occasion were Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Rajesh Rajora, Principal Secretary of Industrial Policy & Investment Promotion Shri Raghvendra Singh, MPSEDC Managing Director Shri Ashish Vashishtha, and MPSEDC Project Director Shri Guru Prasad, among other officials.
