Bhopal: Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal (A Regional Centre of National Museum of Natural History, New Delhi) is organizing various activities under Summer Nature Study Programme- Green Teen for the students of class 8th to 10th. A Study Visit of Laboratory of Central Pollution Control Board, Bhopal was arranged for the environmental pollution study on 30 May, 2024 for the participants of this programme.
During the visit Sanjay Kumar Mukhati, Scientist-B; Rashmi Thakur, Senior Scientific Assistant ; Rameshwar Bandewar, Senior Scientific Assistant; Jagjivan Ram, Junior Laboratory Assistantdetailed the information about Air Pollution, Water Pollution etc. They also told about the parameters of pollutants, pollution monitoring methodologies including pollution controlling methods. At the end, they demonstrated about the identification process of organic plastic & other plastic with the help of Hydrochloro methane.
