Chennai, (UNI) Marucs Stonis’ power hitting hundred that overshadowed Ruturaj’s century, carried LSG to a thumping six wicket win by three balls to spare against home favourite CSK here on Tuesday night.
Set a daunting target, Stoinis, promoted at No.3, anchored thechase, hitting a blistering 63 ball century that consisted of 13 fours and six sixers, as LSG won its second successive contest against CSK in back to back encounters in five days.
Chasing CSK’s 210 for six, LSG finished at 213 for four in 19.3 overs as the visitors romped home quite easily to jump to the fourth spot in the points table ahead of CSK.
