State Congress gears up for Lok Sabha elections

After its defeat in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, Congress has now geared up for the Lok Sabha elections. Congress has formed election committees for many states, including Madhya Pradesh.

In this, a political affairs committee has also been formed for Madhya Pradesh. Jitu Patwari has been made the chairman of Madhya Pradesh Election Committee and state in-charge Jitendra Singh has been made the chairman of Political Affairs Committee. With the formation of these committees, Congress has made it clear that it will contest the Lok Sabha elections under the leadership of the youth.

Jitu Patwari has been made the president of Madhya Pradesh Election Committee. In this committee, 34 members including Digvijay Singh, Vivek Tankha, Suresh Pachauri, Kantilal Bhuria and former Chief Minister Kamal Nath and other senior Congress leaders and President of Youth Congress, Seva Dal, NSUI and Mahila Congress have been made members.

Jitu Patwari will be the convener of this committee – It is noteworthy that now in place of Kamal Nath, State President Jitu Patwari will be the convener of this committee. Along with Kamal Nath, Digvijay Singh, 32 leaders  including Umang Singhar, Kantilal Bhuria, Suresh Pachauri, Arun Yadav, Vivek Tankha and Nakul Nath have been included. After the formation of these two committees, it has become clear that Congress is in the mood to contest the Lok Sabha elections under the leadership of the youth. This is the reason why along with Jitendra Singh, two people considered close to Rahul Gandhi, Jitu Patwari has also been given a big responsibility in these committees. Jitu is currently the President of Madhya Pradesh Congress, he is also continuously making changes in the organization.

Jitu Patwari, Kamal Nath, Digvijay Singh, Umang Singhar, Suresh Pachauri, Kantilal Bhuria, Arun Yadav, Ajay Singh Rahul, Vivek Tankha, Ramniwas Rawat, Sajjan Singh Verma, Kamleshwar Patel, Rajendra Kumar Singh, Phool Singh Baraiya, Hemant Katare, Govind Singh, Narmada Prasad Prajapati, Arif Masood, Dinesh Gurjar, Sanjay UEK, Yogendra Singh Bundela, Phandelal Marco, Mahesh Parmar, PC Sharma, Dilip Singh Gurjar, Rajiv Pathak, Sanjay Sharma, Rajiv Joshi, Ravi Joshi, Talwar Singh Lodhi, Ajay Mishra, Baba, Jagat Bahadur Singh, Nilay Daga, Ashok Singh, Rajiv Singh have been included. Apart from this, the President of State Youth Congress, State President of NSUI, Chief of Rajya Seva Dal and President of Mahila Congress have also been included.
