The basketball team of St. Joseph’s Convent Idgah Hills in the 14-year-age group has won the title of the district level inter-school competition of the School Education Department. It defeated DPS Neelbad 19-0, then defeated St. Joseph’s Co-ED 16-8. After defeating Montfort in the semi-finals, playing their fourth consecutive match in a single day, they thrashed Billabong 9-2 in the final to win the title. The coaches of the team are Jitendra Shukla and Kirti Goswami.
Along with this, the 19 year old girls volleyball team became the runner up in the district level inter-school volleyball competition of the School Education Department held at Sri Aurobindo School. The coach of the team is Ravdeep Singh Malhari.
On this occasion, Principal Sister Lily, Vice Principal Sister Stania, Vishnu Kant Sahay of Sports Department, Amandeep Kaur and all the teachers of the school family expressed happiness and congratulated them.
