Bhopal: Police has started investigation into the sensational incident of rape of a minor student in the hostel of a private school in Misrod police station area of Bhopal.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has constituted a Special Investigation Committee (SIT) in this matter and has given instructions to investigate.
According to police sources, after the incident came to light on Monday night, the girl was medically examined the next day. In this, rape of the girl has been confirmed. The police registered an FIR against an unknown person in Misrod police station under rape and other sections and took the matter under investigation.
Sources said that the girl’s mother has lodged a complaint with the police in this regard and has raised suspicion on some people. Police are interrogating the suspects and the school management. Police believe that the entire matter will be revealed soon.
It has been told about the incident that a family had recently got their eight-year-old girl admitted in a private school located in Misrod area here. She was staying in the hostel itself. Then the incident of rape happened with her. When the girl started having body problems, she told this to her family and the family went to the police.
The girl, who had come to stay in the school hostel 15 days ago, was allegedly drugged and raped in the hostel campus. When the mother came to know about swelling and bleeding in the private parts, the matter came to light. On the other hand, the Congress State President Jitu Patwari expressed concern over this incident and raised questions on the government.
