Israel’s Likud Party among 18 political parties invited to experience Indian elections

New Delhi, (UNI) Representatives of 18 Political Parties from 10 countries, including Australia, Israel, Bangladesh and Russia, are in India on the invitation of the Bharatiya Janata Party to get a first-hand experience and insights into BJP’s election campaign.

The representatives on Wednesday met BJP National President J.P. Nadda at the BJP HQ. They also interacted with External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Minister of Railways. They were briefed about BJP’s election campaign strategies along with the overall Electoral process.

EAM Jaishankar in a tweet posted: “Joined @BJP4India President @JPNadda ji and ministerial colleague @AshwiniVaishnaw ji in welcoming representatives of political parties this evening in New Delhi. “

“Confident that their visit to India will contribute to a better understanding of our robust democratic processes.”

The BJP president said on X: “Had an engaging discussion on BJP’s election campaign strategies and the overall electoral process with representatives of eighteen political parties from ten countries at the BJP HQ. It was a part of our ‘Know BJP’ initiative. This initiative isn’t just about sharing our achievements; it’s about inspiring others by showcasing the contributions and sacrifices BJP has made for nation-building.”

This visit is part of the global outreach program ‘KNOW BJP’ launched by Nadda on the 43rd Foundation Day of the Party, Vijay Chauthaiwale, In-charge, foreign affairs department of the party, said.
