SISTec Organises ‘Headstart 3.0’

Bhopal: Sagar Group’s Sagar Institute of Science and Technology (SISTec) conducted ‘Headstart 3.0’ – The Industry-Academia Forum at its Gandhi Nagar Campus. SISTec ‘Headstart 3.0’ – The Industry-Academia Forum witnessed the presence of CXO’sMukesh Jain Chief Technology Officer Capgemini, Rishi Agrawal Chief Technology Officer 3i Infosoft, Asim Nilose Chief Executive Officer IBSL, Tushar Tayal Director of Engineering Swiggy, Phalgun Nagendran General Manager Engineering & HR Renault Nissan, Madhu Subramani Senior General Manager HR & Administration Bridgestone and Himanshu Paliwal Assistant Vice President Citi Bank as distinguished speakers. Sudhir Kumar Agrawal Chairman& Founder Sagar Group, Dr Jyoti Deshmukh Group Director SISTec, Dr D K Rajoria Principal SISTec , Dr Manish Billore Principal SISTec R, Dr Kuldeep Ganju Principal SIPTec, Ms Prachi Shrivastava Head Corporate Relations, Head of the Departments along with 1000+ students were also present. Headstart 3.0 focused on swerving skills required for Preparing for India 2030 with Trending Technologies as its theme for the day.

In the opening council session, Mukesh Jain Chief Technology Officer Capgemini in his address said “We all have choices, anytime, anywhere and on any device. We just have to innovate, evolve and drive.” He shared the with mantra of 4 ‘A– Ambition, Attitude, Agilityand Action to evolve. Rishi Agrawal Chief Technology Officer 3i Infosoft said that “Fundamentals are the core base of your knowledge. One can build on acquired knowledge and skill sets adopted. Idea is to find solutions to problems with learnings acquired either by skilling or by other experiences.” Asim Nilose Chief Executive Officer IBSL shared the vision for 2030 and said, “Every technologist should aspire to be a business analyst to deliver the right value. It is the skilling and its adoption to trends that will drive the industry sectors to connect with the vision.”

In the second council session of Headstart 3.0, Phalgun Nagendran General Manager Engineering & HR Renault Nissan highlighted the technological advancements in the automobile industry and said “Knowledge, skills, abilities and attitude make student technocrats employable. Students must look forward todevelopnext 5-year technologies to be ready for tomorrow.”

Tushar Tayal Director of Engineering Swiggy said “Engineer’s and Engineering students are magicians. They believe in creation and influence people with their technologies and developments. The skills they grab enable them to create a subject by solving a real-life problem with a scalable view.”Madhu Subramani Senior General Manager HR & Administration Bridgestone directed the students to follow their passion. He said, “Students must dream to build a goal and develop passion to achieve it.Follow your passion and develop the ability to solve real-life problems by adding value.” Himanshu Paliwal Assistant Vice President Citi Bank shared the skill sets required for the next-gen banking systems and said, “Students must focus on customer needs and must agile with adaption. They must skill with training to upgrade, update and network themselves. The value addition at every stage will make them different and stand apart.”

SISTec is awarded with the prestigious National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) & NBA accredited and has bagged the National Employability Award. It has also been awarded by ASSOCHAM with the Excellence Award for Promoting Industry-Academic Interface and has established its SISTec Centre of Excellence with the signing of over 80+ MoU’s in collaboration with industry and academia to bridge the gap of skilling and employability.
