Have courage and continuously strive for success, you will definitely achieve your goal. I passed the IAS exam in the fifth attempt. Prepared the time table and notes and studied for 10 to 12 hours every day and finally achieved my goal.
Sachin Goyal of the capital, who achieved All India 209 ranking in the country’s prestigious exam UPSC, said this during a discussion with Navbharat correspondent Sushil Kumar Mishra. Sachin Goyal said that he had obtained MBBS degree from Bhopal AIIMS in 2019 and since then, he was continuously preparing for UPSC. Explaining further about the preparation, Sachin said that there is no short cut to success. He has achieved success by studying continuously. When asked whether one gets the opportunity to serve the public after studying MBBS, Sachin said that the scope of medical field is limited whereas IAS gets the opportunity to do extensive service in the entire district and various departments. Sachin further told that because he was from the medical field, he had chosen Medical Science in the main examination. Along with Sachin, his brother Sameer Goyal has also passed the IAS examination. His brother Sameer has got 222nd position in All India Ranking. Sameer is a manager in RBI. Sachin further told that his father is an executive director in BHEL and mother is a doctor in a government hospital in Kolar and he got support and inspiration from his parents to achieve success. He told that he had not done any coaching for the written examination of UPSC, but had taken the help of coaching in Delhi for the interview.
Ayaan Jain of Bhopal achieved 16th rank
24 year old Ayaan Jain from Bhopal has got 16th rank in UPSC. His father Mukesh Jain has retired from the Indian Police Service. His brother Arsh Jain is also an IAS. Presently, Ayaan is posted as SDM in Ujjain. Ayaan told that he had taken the optional subject of Mathematics in the UPSC exam. He got success in the third attempt. Ayaan told that he kept his focus more on revision along with studies. His father Mukesh Jain said that he cannot express his happiness in words.
