Raut alleges Rs 12cr distributed by Mahayuti in Nashik

Nashik (Maharashtra), May 13 (UNI) Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) MP Sanjay Raut has claimed that the Mahayuti bloc is distributing money to voters in Nashik, Maharashtra.

Raut shared a video on X with the caption: “The moment the Chief Minister brought food!”

Raut said Chief Minister Eknath Shinde alighted at Nashik by helicopter carrying nine bags in which Rs 12 to 13 crores were kept.

“Night games in Nashik… Just rain…,” said Raut.

“Why are the police carrying such heavy bags for a two-hour tour (of the CM)? Which goods reached Nashik?” he said.

He also alleged that poll officials did not bother to check the bags. “The Election Commission is conducting unnecessary blockades and searches. Official bag distribution begins in Maharashtra,” he said tagging the ECISVEEP handle.

“In places like Sambhajinagar, Pune, the distribution and exchange of money have been visible since last night. These are not allegations; it is clear,” Raut told the media.

Congress candidate Ravindra Dhangekar was sitting in front of the police station, demanding action against BJP workers who were openly distributing money, but no action was taken by the police, said Raut.
