New Delhi, May 7 (UNI) Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of promoting hatred for political gains and urged the voters to vote for Congress for a bright future.
In a video message posted on X, the Chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP) said, “Today, in every corner of the country, youth unemployment, crimes against women, and discrimination against Dalits, Adivasis, and minorities have reached unprecedented levels.”.
“These challenges stem from the ‘nyat’ and ‘niti’ of PM Modi and the BJP, which aim for power to reject inclusivity and dialogue,” the Rajya Sabha MP alleged.
While asking for support from the people of the country, Sonia Gandhi said, “Our Nyay Patra and guarantees aim to unite our nation and work for the poor, youth, women, farmers, workers, and the disadvantaged communities of India.”.
She said the Congress and the INDIA parties were committed to defending the Constitution of the country and democracy.
She urged the voters to reject the proponents of lies and hatred and vote for Congress for a brighter and more equal future for all.
“Press the hand button, and together, let us build a stronger, more united India with peace and harmony for all,” she appealed.
