New Delhi, Nov 19 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday paid tributes to former PM Indira Gandhi on her birth anniversary.
In a post on X (formally known as twitter) the PM said, “On her birth anniversary, tributes to Smt. Indira Gandhi, India’s former Prime Minister.”
Indira Gandhi was born on November 19, 1917.
She was India’s first and so far the only female prime minister and a central figure in Indian politics as the leader of the Indian National Congress.
