All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal will study the effects of the corona vaccine. Its focus will be on the effect on the fetus after the vaccine is given to the mother.

It will be ascertained whether the vaccine caused any harm to the baby in the womb. AIIMS has made preparations for this research. Research will be started soon. It is noteworthy that till now the issue of adverse effects of Corona vaccine has been completely rejected. In such a situation, this will be the first research in the country on the effect of the vaccine on the fetus. On the other hand, Bhopal AIIMS is also going to conduct research on the adverse effects on the health of children living in families near the thermal power plant. This power plant is in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh. What effect this is having on the health of children can be ascertained through this research.

Research is going on in AIIMS

However, this research may take up to three years to complete. AIIMS Director Dr. Ajay Singh said that work is going on in AIIMS on 132 researches related to genetic diseases and environmental health concerns in industrial areas. So far this year, Rs 15 crore has been received from funding agencies for this research. Now the study work will proceed faster.

Work regarding Corona vaccine is to be started in the institute. The concerned department has received permission regarding this.
