- 5th-8th board exam results
The results of the fifth-eighth board examination conducted by the State Education Center in the month of March were released on April 22. In this fifth and eighth class examination, more than seven thousand candidates either failed or got supplementary.
Among these, there are many candidates who have failed by one or two marks. For such candidates, every year after the results, applications are invited for recalculation and photocopy of the answer sheet. But this time it has been more than 12 days since the results were released. But till now the State Education Center has not issued any order in this regard. Whereas the Board of Secondary Education has started taking online applications for recalculation and photocopy of answer sheets only after the release of the board examination results.
This time 99 thousand 994 candidates had appeared in the class 5th-8th board examination. In the results released on April 22, more than seven thousand 500 candidates failed or got supplementary. The State Education Center is now conducting re-examination for these candidates from June 3 to 8. The parents are visiting BRC and DPC offices for recalculation of subject wise answer sheets, but the officers are not able to give satisfactory answers. District Project Coordinator Shanta Swami Bhargava said that the date for the application for recalculation in classes 5th and 8th has not yet come.
