Nitish expresses shock over six deaths in Patna Hotel fire

Patna, April 25 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar expressed his deep shock over the death of six people in a fire which broke out at a hotel near Patna junction on Thursday.

Kumar said he was deeply shocked to learn the fact that six people died in the fire. Those injured were being treated in hospital and authorities had been directed to ensure better treatment for them, he added.

‘I pray for early recovery of those injured in the incident”, the Chief Minister said. He also prayed to almighty to give strength to bereaved family members to bear the tragedy.

Six people died and several others were injured when fire broke out at a hotel near Patna junction this morning. Short circuit was stated to be the reason behind the incident.

The exact cause of the fire would be known only after investigation, authorities said.
