Bhopal: Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya is organizing various programs on the occasion of World Environment Day. Under this, trees and birds will be identified during trekking in the Hum Aur Hamara Paryavaran program, in collaboration with Youth Hostel Association of India and Bhopal Birds’ Society. This program will start from the entrance gate number 02 located towards the lake of the museum at 6.30 am.
Doodle based painting competition at Manav Sangrahalaya will be organized in Aavriti Bhawan from 8 am. Do and Learn in Tribal Habitat Introductory Gallery Under the museum educational program, a 15-day workshop on Kalighat painting of West Bengal will be held in which participants above 12 years of age can participate, this program will be held from 11 am.
Painting exhibition of late Amrit Lal Begad
Along with this, an exhibition of Narmada based paintings of late Amrit Lal Begad will be organized in Vithi Sankul Antaranga Exhibition Bhawan from Reva Tat at 12.30 pm. A ritualistic program will be organized by the people of the Tamil community residing in Bhopal at the Museum’s Punit Van Kovil Kadu and Ayanar Dev Sthanam at Punit Van at 11.30 am. On the same day, from 4 pm, a lecture will be given by Mr. Lokesh Ohri under the Museum Lokruchi Lecture in the Shail Kala Dharohar Bhawan.
Amritsya Narmada
Amritsya Narmada, a dance drama based on the life story of a river written on the pages of the past, will be presented by 14 artists of Kartik Kala Academy Indore under the direction of Dr. Suchitra Harmalkar from 6.30 pm. The scene design in this program has been done by Ms. Shaswati Harmalkar, lighting design is by Mr. Kamal Jain and music will be given by Gundecha Bandhu.
