Ratlam (MP), Nov 4 (UNI) Heaping sarcasm on his detractors, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a leaf out of the cine world by quipping on Saturday that Congress “leaders, their dialogues and announcements are nothing short of filmi.”
Addressing a public meeting in this district headquarters of election-bound Madhya Pradesh, the visiting dignitary averred, “When the characters are filmi, then the scene shall also be likewise!”
Without naming the state’s erstwhile Chief Ministers Digvijaya Singh and Kamal Nath, Mr Modi said, “A tearing-of-clothes competition is underway between two Congress bigwigs. However, this is only a trailer. If they get an opportunity they will tear your garments too! Therefore, remember that giving them a chance shall translate into a predicament of epic proportions.
The Congress’ head will truly break after December 3; they are only practicing now.”
The Prime Minister alleged that the infighting is not for the CM’s position but “for the political future of the leaders’ respective sons” as the Congress is capable of unfurling the banner of dynasticism alone.
“That shortsighted party only makes false announcements and has no inkling whatsoever of a robust roadmap for Madhya Pradesh’s development. Observe the plight to which they reduced Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh over the past half a decade.
Congress reign is synonymous with scams running into thousands of crores; dominance of criminals; treachery against the indigent; atrocities against dalits, the backward and tribal folk. In other words, it is a guarantee of converting a state into a sick one. Such work is in their character, their nature and indeed their blood.
The Congress is a party that simply cannot see outside a certain family,” Mr Modi emphasised.
