Bhopal : Ministers should fulfill the assurances given in the Legislative Assembly with commitment. Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar said this while addressing the first session of the second day of the Leadership Summit at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis. Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Tomar was giving address on the topic of administrative coordination and assembly functioning. He said that ministers should fully understand the functioning and procedures of their department. During this, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, Deputy Chief Ministers Shri Jagdish Deora and Shri Rajendra Shukla and members of the Council of Ministers were present.
Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Tomar, while explaining the administrative system and functioning, advised to study for better formulation, implementation and review of policies. Ministers should also pay attention to innovation in their respective departments. Along with review, administrative reforms should be made in the department as per the demand of time. He said that training, communication and cooperation is important. Government and administration are complementary to each other. Ministers should hold a conference with departmental officers. In this, important feedback is received from departmental officers. He said that a group of experts should be formed and cooperation of experts should be taken in the work of the department.
