Metro trial run will start from today

Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation has taken steps to provide metro services to the people of Bhopal and Indore. Metro trials are about to start in both the cities of the state. A trial run was done on 30th September in Indore.

After the safety run in Bhopal, the trial run of Metro will start from today. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has given time for the program to start the trial run. The Chief Minister will start the trial run of the metro by showing off the green flag. This trial run will last for five to six months. The trial will be held between Subhash Nagar to Rani Kamlapati railway station in Bhopal. In the trial run, the metro will be run along with signals and timings. This trial will run till April-May. After this, a letter will be written to the Central Railway Commissioner to give permission for testing. If everything goes well, the public can get the gift of Metro in Bhopal and Indore by April-May.

Metro will run with three coaches each

A 30.95 km metro track is proposed in Bhopal. Out of this, in the first phase, a 7 km priority corridor is being built in Bhopal. In this, the trial will be held on a track of about four kilometers between Subhash Nagar and Ranikamalapati. About 25 metro train sets will be supplied to Bhopal Metro by Allstop Transport India Limited Company. Initially, a metro of three coaches each will run in both Bhopal and Indore cities.

Eight stations being built in Bhopal

Eight metro stations are being built in Bhopal from Subhash Nagar to AIIMS. In this, eight stations are being built in Subhash Nagar, Central School, Board Office Square, MP Nagar Zone-2, Rani Kamlapati, DRM Office, Alkapuri and AIIMS. In this, 80 percent work of Subhash Nagar and Kamlapati railway stations has been completed. It will take time till April to start the trial of metro between Rani Kamlapati and AIIMS. A railway over bridge is to be built here. After getting the permission the work has now started.
